Enhancing
the EU-Malaysia Business Dialogue and Cooperation
in Services Sector
The project
is focusing on Logistics, Environment, ICT and
Financial Services.

PROFILE
Preferable background in trade advisor/analyst,
commerce, researcher
Selection
criteria:
-
Relevant
experience of at least three years
-
Strong project
management skills
-
Experience in EU-funded project management and
reporting
-
Strong
organisational skills
-
Good
in-depth knowledge of the services sector in
Malaysia (especially the following:
environmental, logistics, ICT & Financial
services)
-
Excellent
communication skills both oral and written in
English
-
Ability to report
on discussions in a clear and concise manner;
both orally and in writing
-
Ability to
establish and maintain effective working
relationships with people of different national
and cultural backgrounds;
-
Good
knowledge of the EU institutions and policies
-
Ability to meet
tight deadlines and work under pressure
-
Knowledge of the
role and working methods of the Malaysian public
sector
-
Strong IT skills
Conditions of
Employment:
The initial
duration of the contract is three years, with
possibility of renewal.
The

COMMITTEE
COORDINATOR
EUMCCI has at
the moment 13 committees, which function a
platform for companies to raise issues and develop
the sector via position papers, events and joint
projects. The Committee Coordinator has a crucial role
in facilitating the meetings and interaction
between the members as well as view of the overall
sector.
Tasks:
-
Organise and
prepare regular Industry Committee meetings
-
Prepare the
minutes of the meetings
-
Write reports
on specific topics related to Committee
activities and draft the issues of the annual
Position Paper in cooperation with Heads of
Committee
-
Develop
advocacy plan and communication strategy
together with Heads of Committee
-
Maintain and
expand relations with Government organisations,
sectoral associations and companies and other
relevant stakeholders
-
Arrange
Committee-related events as needed
-
Set up new
Committees as by Chamber’s strategy
-
Contribute to
overall activities of the Chamber in terms of
sourcing for advertising, sponsorship and
participation to events.
-
Contributing
to overall communications of the Chamber through
preparing industry-related texts for the Review
and other Chamber publications.

COMMUNICATIONS
& MARKETING MANAGER
EUMCCI with its 1200 member companies represents
the voice of the European business in Malaysia.
The Chamber’s core are the 13 industry sector
committees, which function as platforms for
members to raise issues. EUMCCI holds regular
dialogues with various ministries and authorities
and organises monthly VIP Luncheons with high
level speakers.

experience in communication and marketing

organisational skills and eye to detail

Is able to identify
and extract news and key points from Chamber
activities

design and printing process of printed media

interview top level executives and draft
interesting articles of Chamber activities

Has proven results
in sales & marketing
