Description
|
The intern
will assist the staff in executing Chamber
activities.
Key responsibilities including monitoring
the industrial and trade developments in
Malaysia and the EU; and supporting the
activities of the Working Groups. The
position also involves supporting the Event
Manager with events preparation and the
coordination and organisation of Working
Group meetings as well as with the drafting
of the EUMCCI Position Paper.
Specific duties include:
1. Analyzing Government updates
2. Regulatory and market research
3. Writing meeting minutes and general
reports
4. Preparation of marketing materials
5. Database updating
6. Regular correspondence with Chamber
members and stakeholders
7. Events marketing and management
The internship presents an opportunity to
gain valuable experience within the areas
that the Chamber is involved in, including
lobbying, events and organising WG meetings
with European industry as well as
publications.

Qualifications
|
Pursuing or
possess a degree in Business,
IT, International Relations,
Administration or Economics
Experience/knowledge of international trade.
Excellent command of spoken and written English is essential
A solid background in business, economics or
IT is a major asset
Research experience
Organisational, communication, social and presentation skills
High degree of accuracy and responsibility
Computer literacy, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Internet Explorer
Flexible and proactive attitude

Successful
candidates will have to prepare themselves at least 3 months before

The above will be submitted to the Malaysian
Immigration and Inland Revenue Department
for the application of a Professional Visit
Pass.
Kindly note that the whole process of this
application takes about 2 to 3 months. The
Chamber will prepare the application of
Professional Visit
Pass of the candidate strictly for the
period of internship specified in the
Letter of Offer. The Chamber takes no
responsibility should the candidate
wishes to extend their stay in Malaysia, the
cost of the extension will be borne by the
candidate.
Upon successful
completion of the internship, a letter of recommendation from the
Chamber will be provided as a reference.
